Derek and Janel + One!!
Well it has finally happened. Janel and I are proud to announce that we are going to be having a baby!! We found out while we were up at my parents house for Brent's homecoming last week and we confirmed it with a blood test at the clinic I work at. We have our first appointment tomorrow so we will hopefully find out more, but we think she is about 7 or 8 weeks along. We are really excited about this and we can not wait to add a new member to our family.

yay Janel! I can't wait for you! If you want to or can you can come to my baby shower Saturday! I can email you details if you want. I haven't seen you in FOREVER. But I am seriously so excited for you :) Yay for babies!
YEAH!!! I told you yesterday, but what a LUCKY baby to come to such wonderful parents. I hope my family has in some small way prepared you for the craziness that awaits you... i am going to randomly stop by and laugh at you when your house is thrashed and things are crazy! ha ha
